Salary: $25 -$50 per hour

American Heart Association Instructor Position Available (BLS/CPR)

The Largest Training Facility in Los Angeles is looking for competent American Heart Association Instructors to support our clients by delivering exceptional training experiences. Applicant Must hold a current American Heart Association Instructor Certificate in good withstanding to be considered for this opportunity. Potential teaching opportunity includes CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, ECG certification courses.

Applicants should be familiar and experienced with traditional classroom and blended training formats.

We are looking for an experienced CPR, First Aid and BLS Instructor who is passionate about teaching and working with the community.

Schedule:

• Weekdays, Evenings & Weekends.
• Full Time | Part-Time | Per Diem
• Flexible Schedule

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Teach CPR/AED/First Aid and BLS courses in accordance with the American Heart Association Guidelines.
• Ensure timely set-up and clean-up of classroom facility.
• Inspect and maintain training equipment and report any loss or damage.
• Ensure timely completion of reports and certification documents.
• Perform daily routine duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 6+ months of experience teaching American Heart Association Classes.
• Current American Heart Association certifications in BLS or ACLS or PALS
• Must speak Spanish

Expectations

• Access to phone, internet and email; responsive to communication from Accord Staffing staff
• Arrive prior to starting of class for set-up; advise Accord Staffing staff and/or customer point of contact of any issues that could cause delays
• Represent Accord staffing to customers, presenting professional appearance and attitude and providing excellent customer service; course evaluations will be provided to clients following classes
• Maintain thorough familiarity with treatment protocols and company policy.
• Facilitate all certification courses in accordance with the current AHA guidelines
• Operational flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable needs
• Additional administrative work and time may be needed.
