Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking a resourceful and proactive Operations Associate to join their New York office. This mid-level position will support the operational needs of public equity and private/venture biotech investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in trade operations, investment reporting, and fund operations. They will also have the drive to lead strategic projects. These projects aim to enhance the firm’s infrastructure and support its future growth. This is a hybrid role offering a competitive top-tier salary! Job Function Oversee daily reconciliation of cash balances and portfolio positions across multiple accounts. Coordinate with investment professionals, executing brokers, prime brokers, custodians, and other external counterparties to resolve trade/position breaks and corporate action reporting. Monitor and ensure data integrity across internal systems and third-party platforms. Support the investment team with operational insights and reporting alignment to enhance decision-making. Collaborate with firm leadership on the design and execution of strategic initiatives (e.g., EMS migration; investment reporting improvements). Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency and reduce risk. Job Requirements 1-9 years of investment operations or middle office experience at a buyside firm, asset manager, or family office, preferably with exposure to public equity strategies. Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with Enfusion and Lightkeeper is strongly preferred.
