Community Medical Center is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide outpatient treatments to include IV therapy, injections, transfusions, wound vac therapy, and outpatient chemotherapy, in addition to performing nursing duties in the specialty clinic. This position will utilize the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care while providing support to the outpatient infusion and specialty clinic patients. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, occasional weekend hours as necessary.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to conducting and completing outpatient treatments and administering IV therapy, rooming patients, taking vitals, chart preparation, patient instruction/education, entering patient information into the electronic health record, as well as other duties as assigned. Primary patients will be infusion and chemotherapy related but will also include specialty clinic and Med/Surg patients, as needed.

Requirements:
Registered Nurse with the ability to practice in the State of Nebraska.
BSN and chemotherapy experience preferred but not required. Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification required within the first 3 months.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications for health care professionals required.
