Job Overview
Downtown Cleveland law firm looking to hire a full time experienced personal injury litigation paralegal. Job responsibilities will include handling personal injury cases from pre-suit to trial, including requesting medical records and bills, putting together medical packages forwarded to insurance companies, filing lawsuits, completing discovery and preparing for trial. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is a hybrid work schedule with the availability to work from home two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, discovery and pleadings.
• Obtain medical records and bills.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials by organizing exhibits and evidence.
• Manage case files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
• Familiarity with personal injury law is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
