Part-Time Nanny

A loving family in Washington, DC is seeking a responsible and nurturing Part-Time Nanny to care for their 5-month-old son in the afternoons. The family also has a 4-year-old daughter who attends daycare and currently does not need nanny care, though occasional help may be requested in the future.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Up to $30-33 per/hour (depending on experience)

• Guaranteed 20 hours/week

• Gas and mileage reimbursement

• Parking provided

• Paid time off:

  • 1 weeks paid vacation

  • 3–5 personal/sick days

  • All major holidays paid & off

• Healthcare stipend

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday

• 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the 5-month-old from daycare at 3:30 PM (approximately 30 minutes from the family’s home)

• Drive him home safely (mileage and gas reimbursed; parking available)

• Provide attentive care at home, including playtime, feeding, and comfort

• Wash bottles and prepare formula

• Prepare and start dinner for the family

• Give the baby a bath and last bottle before bedtime

• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment

• Occasionally assist with care for the 4-year-old daughter as needed

Family Details:

• No pets in the home

• No food allergies

• Father works full-time in an office; mother works a hybrid schedule

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

• Must provide 3–5 professional references

• Previous experience caring for infants

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Comfortable handling a consistent afternoon routine

• Dependable, warm, and attentive caregiver

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
