Now Hiring: Part-Time Pet Sitters with DSM Pet Care Club!

Looking for a job that’s more than just a paycheck? At DSM Pet Care Club, we believe caring for pets brings joy, purpose, and fulfillment—and we’re looking for pet lovers like you to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide loving, reliable pet care: feeding, fresh water, basic meds, cleaning litter/accidents, and giving plenty of cuddles and playtime.

• Walk dogs safely and responsibly, making sure they get the exercise they need.

• Conduct meet & greets with new clients to understand routines and build trust with pet parents.

• Keep pet parents in the loop with updates, notes, and adorable photos.

• Provide vacation/overnight care when needed.

• Support light marketing activities (sharing flyers, attending local pet-friendly events, etc.).

• Represent DSM Pet Care Club with professionalism, warmth, and reliability.

Compensation & Perks:

• $20/hour + tips

• Travel reimbursement for mileage

Who We’re Looking For:

• Passionate animal lovers who want meaningful, fulfilling work

• Dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working independently

• Strong communicator with both people & pets

• Previous pet care experience a plus (training provided)

• Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation

Serving pets in the Des Moines metro, Ames and surrounding areas.
