This position assists in the coordination, planning and management of legislative activities impacting the Colorado Judicial Department.

Employee normally performs assignments according to their own judgement, requesting supervisory assistance only when necessary. Special projects are managed with little oversight and assignments may be reviewed upon completion. Performance is reviewed periodically.

Education and Experience Equivalency:
A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in public policy, public administration, political science, or a related field.
OR
Additional relevant work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required formal education.
Work Related Experience:
One year of experience in legislative relations or legislative/policy analysis required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in political science, public policy, public administration, or related field. Three years of working with state legislation in policy analysis or legislative relations.
