Job Description

Our client in the electrical industry is seeking a Power Tester to join their team. As a Power Tester, you will be part of the testing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good math skills, and the ability to work safely in a high voltage environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Power Tester

Location: Canonsburg, PA

Pay Range: $23.70/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform testing on Power Transformers and transformer components on voltages and currents using test equipment
• Develop data for test sheets and perform test calculations and analyze test data and test failures
• Calibrate and repair test equipment and assist new testers as needed
• Minor repair to test equipment and customer interaction required
• Quality Control check during final stages and keep work area safe, neat and clean

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have additional schooling in electrical applications
• Must be able to perform work at heights occasionally
• Must be able to pass physical work requirements
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when warranted
