We are currently partnered with one of the most impressive Private Equity shops in Atlanta, GA as they look to grow their team this summer. at the Private Equity Associate position. The team invests throughout the technology, software, and business services landscape and are currently investing out of their most recent fund. With plans to raise their 10th fund later this year, the team is looking to be incredibly active and will need an Associate who can take point on the model, run due diligence, and meet with portfolio companies. This opportunity also gives the Private Equity Associate the unique chance to learn under some of the most impressive senior leadership in the industry and grow long-term with the firm. Private Equity Associate Key Responsibilities: Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, due diligence, and market research to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities. Deal Execution: Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment transactions, including preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee. Portfolio Management: Monitor and support portfolio companies, including performance tracking, strategic planning, and operational improvements. Industry Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, advisors, and potential investment targets. Private Equity Associate Qualifications: ~ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. ~2-4 years of experience in private equity or investment banking. ~ Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. ~ Excellent communication and presentation abilities. ~ High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. ~ Strong ties to the Southeast (specifically Atlanta) If you have a strong passion for investing and want to join one of the most active deal teams in the market, please apply to the job posting.
