Job Description

A newly founded LMM Private Equity firm that invests within the Software industry using a Growth/Buyout approach is now looking to add on a junior resource at the Associate level to their team. The firm is growing rapidly and would be looking for this individual to come with the intention of this being a career track style opportunity that would have an accelerated path to VP. The compensation for this role would be $100k on the base with a target bonus of 25%. Start date for the role would be late Summer/early Fall of 2025. A variety of backgrounds listed below are encouraged to apply for this position.

Not only is this a chance to break into the buyside, it is also a chance to to get in on the ground floor of something being built out from the ground stages, all while getting direct exposure to senior leadership, and getting to take on more responsibilities than a standard Associate. Responsibilities:

• Structure and negotiate the acquisition and disposition of various types of investments
• Work directly alongside executive leadership of acquired firms to drive the professionalization and profitability of their organizations
• Participate in committee discussions around potential investments and strategic initiatives
• Due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements

Requirments:

• 1-3 years of M&A Investment Banking experience (Tech experience preferred)
• or 2-3 years of Consulting experience (ideally focused on Tech PE clients)
• or 2-3 years of Corporate Banking experience (ideally focused on the Tech industry)
• Bachelor's degree with strong GPA
• Solid modelling and analytical skills
• Proven ability to handle simultaneous tasks with deadlines
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
