Job Description

A law firm seeks a Private Equity Fund Formation Associate in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in representing private fund sponsors and institutional investors on complex fund formation matters, co-investments, and secondary transactions. This role offers substantial client interaction, significant responsibility, and growth potential within a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Represent private fund sponsors in fund formation matters.
• Advise institutional investors on co-investments and secondary transactions.
• Engage in substantial client interaction and manage client relationships.
• Collaborate with a global team to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in a large firm setting.
• Proven track record in private equity fund formation.
• Strong understanding of co-investments and secondary transactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.
