Production Color Specialist

WW Flooring Group is seeking a Production Color Specialist to work in their state-of-the-art Finishing line. This position will involve working with high quality wood flooring using expertise in various finishes and techniques to create a high-quality finished product. This job is in Syracuse, NY.

Requirements of the Production Color Specialist:

• Experience in color matching preferred
• Expertise in various wood finishing techniques
• Strong understanding of coating materials
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and results driven
• Ideally experience in the Cabinet or Flooring Industry
• Shift hours: 6am 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the Production Color Specialist:

• Report to Director of Manufacturing
• Develop color working hand in hand with chemical supplier and production team
• Monitor operations to ensure quality standards are upheld in all aspects of the finishing process
• Select and apply appropriate coatings (e.g., Stains, sealers, etc.) based on product requirements
• Identify and resolve coating defects
• Experience in Color preferred to perform in this position you need to have an "eye" for color
