At a Glance Earn weekly pay with BDS! Reporting to the Results Manager, the Public Relations Coordinator (PRC) will support various earned media efforts and contribute to our overall PR strategy. Overview WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive pay * Weekly pay and early wage access – get paid when you need it * 401(k) with employer matching * Paid sick time * Paid training * Employee assistance program * Employee discounts * Referral bonus * Opportunity to work with a growing company that actively rewards and promotes its employees WHAT YOU’LL DO * Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives * Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and reports to the Sr. PR Manager * Draft press materials, including press releases, media alerts, media pitches and talking points * Maintain media lists and build relationships with key journalists and influencers. * Manage inbound media and influencers inquires * Stay updated on industry trends and news cycles to identify opportunities for proactive media outreach * Coordinate logistics for media events and interviews * Support internal communication efforts as needed, and support cross-team communications/collaborative efforts * Think creatively and identify new opportunities for the team WHAT YOU’LL BRING Experience and Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications * Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field, PR agency experience preferred * Proficient in media monitoring tools, and Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite * Experience with PR measurement and evaluation tools * Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in PR strategies Skills and Attributes: * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences * Proven analytical skills, with experience drawing insights from data * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities * Strong project management skills; detail-oriented with time management skills * Ability to travel once per quarter Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
