Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute materials & process R&D experiments
• Perform heat treatment using internal lab equipment
• Submit and track samples for metallurgical testing
• Analyze and document test data and results
• Conduct wear testing; maintain lab safety and equipment
• Collaborate with metallurgists, lab techs, and internal clients

Required Qualifications:

• Education: B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science
• Experience: Familiarity with heat treatment or foundry processes
• Lab Skills: Microhardness, microstructure analysis, tensile, Charpy, SEM
• Software: Office 365; ImageJ and JMatPro experience is a plus
