Description

A Host/Hostess presents a positive first impression of Overlook's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. The Host/Hostess also greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitors waiting list, enter guest names into the computer system, seat tables in rotation, show guests to their table and bid guests farewell as they leave.

Additionally, the Host/Hostess cares for our guests by performing light cleaning duties such as cleaning tables/menus/silverware. As a member of the Overlook team, the Host/Hostess will answer the phones, fill to-go orders and help manage delivery of room service orders.

Pay range = $15.00-$16/hour (+ tips) Pay range listed is based on historical average for employees in this role and may vary week-to-week based on hours worked & actual tips received.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Previous waitstaff experience
• Knowledge of catering practices preferred
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• MUST have reliable transportation.
• Great communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Great attitude.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Presentable (Black on black uniform. Button up dress shirt, Black slip Resistance shoes)
