Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a Social Worker to work at a school located in Gages Lake, Illinois.

Social Worker Contract Details:

• $47.50 – $51 per hour
• 38-week contracts
• Social Worker will be promoting the general well-being of students
• Working with outside agencies to provide support to families
• Offering mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
• Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
• Working to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social work
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license must meet position requirements.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred
