As a Security Officer - Tech Site - Overnight Shift in The Dalles, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional within a dynamic technology and media environment, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure atmosphere for people and property. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the site, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. This post requires driving responsibilities, so you will be tasked with operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also interact with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related issues within the location.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a technology and data center environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of security-related incidents and daily activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid drivers license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
