Now Hiring: Full-Time Security Officer – Sergeant Bluff, IA

Allied Universal is now hiring a Full-Time Security Officer for a client site in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa (ZIP 51054) . This role is perfect for individuals who are dependable, professional, and ready to take on a steady afternoon/evening shift.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access and ensure authorized entry to the site

• Conduct patrols and maintain a visible security presence

• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs

• Respond to situations calmly and professionally

• Communicate effectively with visitors, staff, and supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License that meets Allied Universal’s driver policy

• Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout shift

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
