Our client in Oxnard is seeking a Seed Lab Technician to join their team. 
 

Job Title: Seed Lab Technician

Location:Oxnard, CA

Pay Range: DOE

 

What’s the Job?

Responsible for creation and movement of physical samples. Responsible for performing designated physical seed quality analysis.
The Technician will provide support and assistance to by preparing buffers and reagents, assisting with seed health tests and performing greenhouse work.

Duties and responsibilities include: Prepare buffers and reagents, maintain indicator plants and conduct grow-out assays, inspect, operate, and maintain equipment, assist with seed health tests, follow and maintain the ISO Quality Management Standards wear proper PPE and take proper safety precautions while working in the lab.

Must have: 

• Required education is High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Related experience and/or training preferred
• 4-6 Years of Experience
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced global and multi-cultural environment
