Senior Accountant

Salary:
$80,000-$95,000

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close process and maintain general ledger accuracy

• Oversee payroll for full-time and adjunct faculty using Paylocity

• Supervise Staff Accountant handling AP, AR, and billing

• Support ERP implementation (transitioning from QuickBooks to NetSuite)

• Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations

• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and financial planning

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit

• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables) and familiar with ERP systems

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience managing or mentoring staff
