Job Description

Refactor Games is a AAA sports video game studio . We are developing the next generation of professional football (soccer) video games using Unreal Engine 5 .

We are looking for a Senior Animator to deliver high-quality, authentic football player animation .

Experience:

• 3+ years developing games for console and/or PC, ideally sports or competitive multiplayer.
• At least 1 shipped high-quality football game or a similar sports game.

Responsibilities:

• Animate players with attention to motion authenticity.
• Work with mocap data and enhance with keyframe polish.
• Implement animations in UE5 using Control Rig and AnimGraph.
• Tune animation systems for responsiveness and realism.
• Collaborate with gameplay designers to support great player control.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of animation experience on high-fidelity games.
• Proven experience with player locomotion and sports-specific animation.
• Strong UE5 animation implementation skills.
• Familiarity with football player movement and style.
