Senior Women’s Apparel Designer – Torrance, CA

Appleton Finn is partnering with a leading lifestyle brand based in Torrance, CA to find an experienced Senior Designer (Women's Apparel) . This is a unique opportunity to take creative ownership within a brand known for its bold design language, attention to detail, and dynamic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the women’s design process from initial concept to final production
• Develop comprehensive tech packs and conduct fittings with a strong understanding of garment fit and construction
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, production, and external vendors to meet critical deadlines
• Design across multiple fabrications and categories including knits, wovens, denim, and more
• Proactively identify and address product and quality issues early in the process

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of hands-on design experience in women's apparel
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD, and garment construction
• Strong understanding of pattern-making, grading, and fabric behavior
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Based in or willing to commute to Torrance, CA
