Location: Plano, TX (On-site for the first 90 days, then 1-2 days remote work per week)

Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee tax projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Perform comprehensive tax compliance activities for both individual and business clients, including preparation, planning, and projections.
- Analyze and review complex tax returns, utilizing extensive tax knowledge to achieve optimal results.
- Conduct in-depth tax research and manage inquiries, resolutions, and correspondence efficiently.
- Supervise accounting procedures and financial reporting, providing exceptional client services.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting their professional development and a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with team leaders to devise strategies for client growth and operational enhancements.
Qualifications: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a dedicated focus on tax returns across at least three consecutive tax seasons.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in tax compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
