Service Supervisor – Sunriver Pub

Company Overview:

Sunriver Brewing Company is a family-owned business founded in Central Oregon in 2012. Almost 300 team members represent four pubs and a brewery located in Central Oregon with an additional pub in Eugene. We are dedicated to awesome craft beer, delicious food, and engaging service. We're looking for a Service Supervisor to join our team and operations at our Sunriver Pub in Sunriver.

Service Supervisor- Position Summary:

The Service Supervisor is committed to ensuring high-quality customer service and has the capacity to handle the pressure of restaurant work. We are seeking a professional, collaborative, solution-oriented servant leader to support our great team and help us create an awesome customer experience. This position will supervise employees and make sure that they complete their tasks and are motivated to work effectively. They will also act as a reference point for employees and customers, ready to fix problems that occasionally arise. We are looking for someone who is excited to get a great start or continue their path in the craft beer industry.

Pay Range: $25/hour DOE  

Service Supervisor- Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress
• Oversee payments received and refunds given; thoroughly count and document end-of-shift cash amounts, and keep track of discrepancies for reconciliation purposes
• Collaborate with other shift managers to provide training to employees on company policies, procedures and required conduct
• Help to integrate new employees in company culture and team
• Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed
• Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed
• Handle customer and employee complaints
• Resolve conflicts between employees
• Oversees completion of opening and closing tasks
• Keeps supervisor and upper-level management apprised of daily operations
• Supports pub finances through effective inventory maintenance and ordering of pub goods
• All other duties as assigned.

Service Supervisor- Job Requirements & Skills:

• Ideal candidate will have at least three years’ serving experience in a restaurant or pub setting.
• Works well with a team.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Maintains professional but friendly demeanor.
• Demonstrates familiarity with basic computer programs.
• Manages time effectively and efficiently.
• Is capable of disciplining or reprimanding employees when necessary.
• Responds calmly and professionally to stressful situations in the workplace.
• Demonstrates ability to multitask daily.
