Job Description

Shipping Clerk

Job Description:

  • Preparing and shipping outgoing orders. This includes verifying order details, packaging items, creating shipping labels, and arranging for shipment.
  • Interact cross departmentally to ensure quality and accuracy thought the process.
  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Using measuring devices, placing shipping labels
  • Communication: May interact with customers, suppliers, and shipping carriers to address issues or questions.
  • Attention to detail. Ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and shipping processes.
  • Vacuuming
  • Cleaning
  • Must be on feet for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs. repetitively
  • Must be knowledgeable with basic hand tools
  • Must be able to read tape measure
  • Experience in a warehouse of distribution center
  • Required to wear proper PPE at all times.
