We are is looking for an experienced software QA Tester to work directly with a global client's QA team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Activities will focus on end-to-end functional and payment instruments testing.

Basic terms:

• Title: QA Tester
• Experience: Mid-level
• Type: Independent Contractor
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay rate range: $35 to $40 USD per hour
• Duration: June 9, 2025 through June 8, 2026; potential 12 month renewal
• Capacity: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM Eastern time
• Location: Toronto-based remote
• Language: Bilingual French Canadian / English

Responsibilities:

• Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test cases, test data, and test environments.
• Execute test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software products and applications
• Identify and document defects, issues, and risks during the testing process.
• Collaborate with the QA team to prioritize and troubleshoot identified issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in French Canadian with English professional fluency
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
• 3 to 5 years of QA testing experience on web and mobile apps
• Highly effective communication
