Spanish/English fluency is required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess the ability to work with diverse populations and age groups. A passion for helping the underserved and senior population is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a team of volunteers and staff, along with sensitivity to and a clear understanding of client confidentiality issues. Responsibilities include accurately interpreting conversations between tax preparer volunteers, Medicare counseling volunteers, and non-English-speaking clients while maintaining client confidentiality.
