Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed to support an elementary school caseload focused on serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This onsite position offers a contract for the full school year and is located near Menahga, MN. The role requires a dedicated educator with expertise in special education practices tailored to the ASD population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to elementary students with ASD
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with state standards and student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for compliance and communication
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic growth

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota State Teaching Certification in Special Education with ASD endorsement
• Experience working with elementary students on the autism spectrum
• Strong understanding of evidence-based strategies for ASD instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to onsite, full-time work for the duration of the school year contract
