Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education. This full-time, onsite position is designed to support students with Autism and other developmental disabilities in a structured classroom setting. You will be responsible for managing classrooms of 8-12 students, creating individualized educational plans, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing specialized curricula tailored to the unique needs of students with Autism and developmental disabilities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches
• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on student development and achievement
• Providing a safe, engaging, and positive educational environment for students

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Certification in Special Education, particularly in elementary age groups
• Experience working with students on the Autism spectrum and with developmental disabilities
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a supportive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
