Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for an onsiteAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom in the Hugo, MN area. This is a full-time contract position for the 20252026 school year.
Position Details:
Grade Level: Elementary
Classroom Setting: Level 3
Licensure: ASD licensure preferred, but not required. Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (ASD or ABS) required.
Pay Rate Range: $35$50 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, onsite

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Create and deliver age- and ability-appropriate lessons for students in a setting 3 classroom
Lead a team of paraprofessionals to meet student needs
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and challenges
Collaborate with school principals, special education coordinators, and other staff
Maintain accurate student service records and ensure Due Process compliance
Serve as Case Manager for students in your classroom
Participate in IEP and evaluation summary meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
Prior experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Experience writing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Knowledge of current best practices in behavior intervention and supports
Familiarity with standardized assessment tools
Strong collaboration and team communication skills
Effective communication with parents, guardians, and team members
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and/or assist with lifting adult-size body weight with a two- to three-person lift
