Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves providing specialized one-on-one instruction in health education for a high school student receiving homebound services. The role requires delivering health curriculum tailored to the students needs while maintaining a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering personalized health education lessons to a high school student in a homebound setting
• Planning and adapting instruction to suit the individual learning requirements
• Collaborating with educational and healthcare professionals to support the student's progress
• Maintaining accurate records of student performance and instructional activities
• Ensuring services are provided during designated school hours

Qualifications and experience sought:

• Dual certification in Health Education and Special Education for high school levels
• Proven experience working with high school students, preferably in a homebound or health-related instructional capacity
• Strong organizational and munication skills
• Ability to deliver instruction in a one-on-one setting effectively
• mitment to a year-round contract starting immediately and extending through June 30, 2026

Location: Position based in Massapequa, NY

This part-time role requires availability for up to 5 hours per week, with services to be rendered during regular school hours. This contract position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a student's academic journey in a highly specialized educational setting.
