SPORTIME owns and operates 17 tennis, pickleball, sports, camp and fitness clubs across NYS, including sites across Long Island, in Westchester, Manhattan and the Capital Region and New Jersey. Several of these locations currently feature both dedicated and/or “blended” pickleball courts, and offer court-time, instruction and related programs. SPORTIME clubs are state-of-the-art, yet affordable, and feature the best tennis, sports and fitness facilities and programs, including the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and SPORTIME Volleyball Club. SPORTIME clubs serve individuals of every age and athletic ability, 365 days a year.

LOCATION: SPORTIME/The John McEnroe Tennis Academy – Port Washington, NY

Our Sports Performance team is seeking a dynamic, personable, outgoing, knowledgeable and hard-working strength and conditioning coach to run our day-to-day fitness programs at our Port Washington JMTA location.

You MUST have a passion for working with youth and high school tennis players both recreational and high performing between the ages of 5-18 years old, as well as adult tennis and pickleball players.

Candidates should have an array of knowledge and experience in executing proper dynamic warm ups, movement drills related to tennis along with other change of directions sports. A background in training youth athletes as it relates to functional strength, conditioning, power, plyometrics and injury prevention.

Qualifications: (required to have one or more of the below)
*Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science
*National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS, NSCA)
*National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)

COMPENSATION: $35.00 per hour 

SCHEDULE: Part-time, 10 hours per week
