Job Title: Travel Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech)

Location: West Allis, Wisconsin

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced travel surgical technologist for a 13-week assignment in West Allis, Wisconsin. Located just outside Milwaukee, West Allis offers a vibrant mix of urban convenience and suburban charm, with a thriving food scene, local parks, and easy access to Lake Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons in a high-volume OR with ortho, general, and OBGYN procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring proper instrumentation and techniques.
• Support spine (complex multi-level, posterior/anterior), urology, and limited vascular procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent surgical tech experience.
• Completion of a surgical technologist program from an accredited school.
• Active BLS certification.
• Stg experience in ortho (total joints, ORIF), general surgery, and OBGYN (D&C, hysterectomy, no C-sections).
• Comfortable with portable X-ray equipment and assisting anesthesia techs (pediatrics included, but no pediatric experience required).
