AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Medical Assistant in West Hollywood, California, 90069!

Summary: The Medical Assistant supports physicians and nurses by performing administrative and clinical duties in a healthcare setting. This role helps ensure efficient patient care and smooth daily operations in the clinic.

Responsibilities: 

• Greet and prepare patients for exams or procedures.
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and patient medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations or minor procedures.
• Administer medications or injections as directed by a licensed provider (if certified).
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.

Requirements:

• 1 - year experience Required,
• BLS Certification,
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, NCCT or MMCI.

Preferred:

• CPT Certification.
