Travel Neuro RN Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Neuro Registered Nurse (RN)

• Start Date: October 6, 2025
  
• End Date: January 4, 2026
  
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  
• Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
  
• Hours per Week: 36
  
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1630 - $1750
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state (RN jobs in Iowa)
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in neurology, medical/surgical, or telemetry
  
• BLS certification (AHA required)
  
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
  
• Compliance with onboarding requirements: background check, drug screen, and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, 2-Step PPD or IGRA)
  
• Completion of facility-specific competency checklists and training modules
  

Travel Neuro RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neurology patients, including those with neurological disorders and post-surgical needs
  
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform comprehensive assessments
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  
• Accurately document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, neurological conditions, and recovery processes
  
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations, and provide coverage for makeup shifts as needed
