ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
  
• Emergency Room (ER) certification preferred
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting
  
• Ability to work night shifts and excel in a fast-paced clinical environment
  
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, COVID-19 Vaccine recommended)
  
• Successful background check, education, and employment verification
  
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
  
• Completion of skills checklist and competency exam
  

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting
  
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs efficiently and accurately
  
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
  
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  
• Document patient care and clinical findings promptly and accurately
  
• Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures as needed
  
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
