\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM RN license can be pending at submission)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level I Trauma RN experience strongly preferred; will consider 1.5 years for exceptional candidates)\n
• Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travel nurses with strong Level I Trauma experience will be considered\n
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be obtained before start)\n
• No local candidates within 75 miles (New Mexico RN jobs only for travelers)\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)\n
• Personal transportation required\n

\n\nER Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver exceptional patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department, including IV medication administration and accurate clinical documentation\n
• Care for diverse patient populations: trauma, neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, and medical emergencies\n
• Perform triage, manage dysrhythmias, administer blood products, and care for ventilated patients\n
• Float to Adult Progressive Care Units (PCUs) and ED Holding areas as needed\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services\n
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including bar code medication scanning and documentation standards\n
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training modules\n
• Work weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled\n
