Ohio Healthcare Job Details

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse – Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing)
  
• Location: Concord Township, Ohio 44077
  
• Healthcare Setting: 32-bed ICU/Stepdown unit
  
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
  
• Hours per Week: 36
  
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/4/2026)
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800 - $1840
  
• Floating Requirement: All inpatient areas at UH Tripoint Medical Center and UH Lake West Medical Center, including ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg
  
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: ICU 1:1–3, Stepdown 1:4–5, Med/Surg up to 1:4–6
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license (Registered Nurse)
  
• RN Critical Care certification
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
  
• Ability to float to Stepdown and Med/Surg units as needed
  
• Current immunizations and health screenings (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
  
• Completion of required nursing skills checklist and competency exams
  
• Background check and employment verification
  
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
  

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, endocrine disorders, electrolyte imbalances, stroke, cardiac arrest, sepsis, COVID-19, TB, renal disorders, and more
  
• Monitor and assess patient status, administer medications, and perform clinical interventions
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  
• Float to Stepdown and Med/Surg units as required
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
  
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations
