Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift) Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: October 13, 2025 Openings: 6

Pay Package (Estimated Weekly)

• Weekly Gross: $2,619.20
• Stipend (Meals & Housing): $1,719.20
• W2 (Taxable at $25/hr for 36 hrs): $900

Position Overview

A high-volume Labor & Delivery unit in Denver is seeking experienced Travel RNs for night shift coverage. This fast-paced environment handles a wide range of obstetric procedures including high-risk deliveries and surgical cases. Nurses will work with a collaborative team using advanced monitoring systems and EMR technology.

Unit Details

• Beds: 12 L&D, 8 triage, 11 antepartum
• Staffing (Night Shift): 1 Charge RN, 11 RNs, 1 Tech
• Patient Ratios:
  • L&D: 1:2
  • Triage: 1:3–4
  • Antepartum: 1:4
• Equipment: Centricity, GE monitors
• EMR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience
• Certifications: ACLS, NRP
• Intermediate fetal monitoring
• OR circulation experience

Preferred Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• PACU experience

Common Procedures

• Vaginal and C-section deliveries
• D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation
• Cerclage placement, external cephalic versions
• High-risk OB management

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
