  Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Neuro Trauma Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift travel contract. This 33-bed unit provides care to adult patients with a range of medical, surgical, and neuro trauma conditions. Ideal candidates are positive, flexible, and team-oriented, with a strong Med/Surg background.

Unit Information:

• Unit Type: Medical Surgical / Neuro Trauma (3rd Floor)
• Bed Count: 33
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, floor RNs based on 5:1 ratio, no techs
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, floor RNs based on 5:1 ratio, no techs
• EMR: Meditech

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Med/Surg RN experience – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients with medical, surgical, and neuro trauma needs
• Monitor patient status and perform frequent assessments
• Administer medications and maintain documentation in Meditech
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
