Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in a cancellation. This is a weekend position requiring work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A diverse team is crucial, and teamwork is highly valued. The goal is to provide patients with a remarkable experience in every dimension. The focus is on restoring physiologic stability, preventing complications, and achieving optimal responses that result in quality patient care. Telemetry will be monitored by a technician on another unit. The nurse must be able to correctly treat dysrhythmias. There is a float requirement to sister units. Candidates must be available for classes during the initial weeks. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting. All testing must be completed promptly. Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. The candidate must be comfortable with floating and must have no restrictions or special requests. Travel pairs are allowed but must work on different units. References are required prior to the start of employment. Fatigue policy limits travel nurses to no more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week.
