Pay Rate: 

Weekly Gross Pay: $2326
• $30/hr on W2
• $1246 non-taxable stipend

 

Job Description:

Now hiring experienced IMCU/Step-Down Registered Nurses for a 13-week night shift travel contract. This 12-bed intermediate care unit specializes in the care of cardiac patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care. Nurses work in a supportive environment with strong collaboration among staff.

Unit Details:

• Unit Type: IMCU (Intermediate Care / Step-Down)
• Bed Count: 12
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Staffing:
  • Night Shift: 3 RNs, 1 Patient Care Tech
• EMR: Meditech
• Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
• Scrub Color: Navy

Required Skills & Certifications:

• BLS & ACLS (AHA) – Required
• Strong cardiac background with experience managing drips
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU/Step-Down experience

Preferred Skills:

• Stroke care experience
• Familiarity with cardioversion protocols

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage cardiac patients requiring intermediate care
• Administer cardiac medications and titrate drips
• Document assessments, changes in condition, and interventions in EMR
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient outcomes

Schedule & Floating:

• 3×12-hour shifts/week
• Up to 4 weekend shifts per contract (typically 3)
• No on-call required
• May float to Med/Surg as needed
