Physical Therapist – 1 Year Contract
Location: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center (WWKMHCC), Sisseton, SD
Facility: Indian Health Service

Pay and Benefits

• $50 per hour
• $75 per hour overtime
• $1246 per week per diem
• $500 travel allowance
• $3246 per week gross based on 40 hours

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• No weekends or holidays
• Occasional additional hours for emergency evaluations

Contract Dates

• 11/01/2025 – 10/31/2030

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current state license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience in the last 36 months
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records
• Proof of required immunizations and recent PPD test
• Strong communication skills in English
• Must meet all credentialing and background checks

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide rehabilitation services for patients with a wide range of conditions including post-stroke, arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
• Provide education and written home exercise programs
• Document care in the Electronic Health Record system
• Collaborate with physicians and participate in patient-centered medical home model
• Maintain professional standards, cultural sensitivity, and patient confidentiality
• Participate in committees, staff development, and peer reviews as assigned
