• BLS

Job Details

• Mental Health Coordinator position to plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
• Perform all functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements.

Job Requirements

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials.

Additional Details

• Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Provides treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
• Documents treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques for individuals in caseload.
• Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
