Our Engineering team is developing the most powerful system for synthesizing molecules ever made, leveraging AI and deep integration with physical hardware to perform chemistry on demand and easily scale to manufacturing. In front of it all is an intuitive, beautiful user interface that our customers love to use.

If you obsess over creating excellent user experiences, from initial design through implementation, we want you to join as a UX Engineer.

The Job

In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences through a combination of design sensibility and technical expertise. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement user interfaces that balance aesthetics with functionality
• Create reusable component libraries and design systems
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation
• Build and maintain interactive prototypes for user testing
• Work with the founding team to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to UX/UI design documentation and style guides

You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX implementation skills
• Proficiency with Typescript and React
• Proficiency with Figma
• Experience with a startup environment

Compensation

• $85,000-$120,000 annual salary
• Stock options
