About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, confirming creditworthiness, and improving the loan application process by communicating additional requirements to applicants. This role also involves rejecting loans with clear explanations of deficiencies, as well as approving loans and assisting customers with their inquiries. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is eager to be part of a growing institution and has the potential to take over and expand an established portfolio. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Loan Officer, with a strong background in credit and a business development mindset. Leadership aspirations, a team-first mentality, and the ability to expand loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products are essential. The role requires familiarity with sales, commercial loan processing, and closing processes, as well as the ability to multitask effectively and possess good communication skills.
