tendersglobal.net Position Description The Washington English Center (WEC) is a DC-based nonprofit organization that provides English language classes to adult immigrants and refugees, supported by dedicated volunteer teachers. Duties What our volunteers do: Volunteers meet once a week, either online or in person in downtown DC, for 1-3 hours a week over 11 weeks. They follow a provided syllabus and textbook, with ongoing training provided. No teaching experience required! There is also an opportunity to substitute teach, which does not require a weekly commitment, offering flexibility to volunteers. We are happy to accommodate your schedule.
