Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing wood structures and frameworks according to blueprints and building plans. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framework and structural components.

• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.

• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures including walls, floors, roofs, doors, and windows.

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other wooden components.

• Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in wood frame construction.

• Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficiency with carpentry tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Strong understanding of construction math and measurements.

• Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders/scaffolding.

• High attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor construction sites.

• May require extended hours, weekend work, and working in varying weather conditions.
